The Website Is Live: Week 3 blog

Week 3: 

This week we worked on the website which we decided to make on wix due to how long coding takes. We learned a lot about coding though our explorations, and I look forward to continuing to learn how to code on my own time. To answerer Sue's question about debugging code from last time there are programs which you can run your code through that can detect some bugs. If the code just isn't doing what you want I like to break it up and run it in smaller pieces to see if everything is running the way I want it and then slowly running more and more elements of code together until I run into where it isn't interacting correctly. I'm sure there are many other ways to di it which I will learn about as I code.

We played Phasmophobia for the first time, which is a horror game. It was scary but super fun to play with friends. The funniest moments thought that gameplay came from when other people would get chased by the ghost and they would start yelling. Even though it was a bit confusing to pick up  the actual goal of the game, playing and hanging out with my friends was a lot of fun. The lighting and music greatly added to the scary aspects of the game. 

Honestly the main thing I've learned from this week is that I would like to be able to type faster because I’ve had to do a lot of writing for the website. I also have realized that the best way to share gaming is through gameplay, because I think just reading it on a blog is a bit boring. So for this next week Riley and I will be streaming us playing games on twitch. We don't have times worked out yet but check the schedule tabs on our streams to see if we have any planned streams yet. (Will probably stream in the evenings). Because the website and it's content honestly documents our work in a more extensive way than I can in a blog post check out the website so far. We are still adding elements and there will be updates to it thought the week.
